Our daycare is designed to give your dog the perfect mix of fun, freedom, and familiarity in a small, home-based environment. Whether your pup is chasing balls, sunbathing in the yard, or curled up on the couch, we treat them like one of our own.
🌞 What to Expect
- Includes up to 12 hours of care — no overnight stay required
- Drop-off as early as 7:00 AM
- Pick-up as late as 10:30 PM (we don’t charge late fees!)
- No hourly rates — one flat daily rate for flexibility and ease
Depending on the day, your dog might:
🐾 Go on a short walk
🐾 Visit the dog park
🐾 Join us for a hike or paddleboarding adventure
🐾 Splash in the creek or kiddie pool
🐾 Or simply enjoy sunshine and backyard play with other pups
We’re not a traditional facility — we’re a husband-and-wife team offering care right from our home. Because of this, there may be brief times when no one is home (e.g., errands or appointments). On average, dogs are never left alone for more than 2.5 hours at a time.
🧳 What to Bring (and What to Leave)
✅ Please pack:
- Lunch, if your dog eats midday
- A collar that fits snugly and has a name tag
- Any medications your dog needs during the day
🚫 Please leave behind:
- Toys or beds you don’t want shared or possibly chewed
- Leashes (we have plenty)
- Food/water bowls
- Crates
🐶 Who’s a Good Fit?
To make sure everyone has a safe, happy day, all daycare dogs must be:
✔️ Friendly with other dogs (no aggression or guarding behaviors)
✔️ Comfortable in group settings (like parks or previous daycare)
✔️ Vaccinated, including rabies and Bordetella (electronic proof is fine)
✔️ Able to enjoy off-leash play in a home and backyard setting
Barking at the door is fine — but for dogs who bark excessively even indoors, we may use bark collars with prongs removed (beep or vibrate only) to maintain a peaceful space for everyone.

Especially great to add on for poor weather days where we may not be able to go for a walk. Paws & Play provides a clean kong filled with peanut butter & treats and your pup has a great snack and toy to play with under supervision!
